การปลูกฝังคุณธรรมจริยธรรมให้แก่เยาวชนของวัดในอำเภออัมพวา จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม

        The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the level of Morality and Ethics Cultivation in the Youth of Temples at Amphawa District in Samut Songkhram Province; (2) to compare the level of Morality and Ethics Cultivation in the Youth of Temples at Amphawa District in Samut Songkhram Province classified by personal factors; and (3) to study the problems, obstacles, and suggestions regarding morality and ethics cultivation among youth at temples in Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province. This study employed a mixed-methods research design. For the quantitative research, data were collected via questionnaires from 222 elementary school students in Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested using t-test and F-test (One-way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA). For the qualitative research, the study used documentary analysis and interviews with 9 key informants. The data were analyzed using contextual content analysis.

        The findings of the research were as follows:

        1. The overall level of morality and ethics cultivationamong youth at temples in Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, was found to be at a high level (x= 3.66). When considering each aspect individually, the area with the highest mean was discipline, which was at a high level (x= 3.78). This was followed by honesty, also at a high level (x= 3.73). The aspect with the lowest mean was frugality, which was at a moderate level (x= 3.41).

      2. The comparison of the Morality and Ethics Cultivation in the Youth of Temples at Amphawa District in Samut Songkhram Province, classified by personal factors, revealed that students with different genders, ages, levels of education, and levels of Dhamma studiesshowed no significant difference. Therefore, the research hypothesis was rejected.

       3. Problems and obstacles, it was found that monks still lack efforts in encouraging students to adhere to disciplined systems toward others and fostering impartiality or a lack of bias. Furthermore, there is insufficient promotion for students to understand their financial status, specifically in practicing "thinking before spending." Suggestions included: monks should organize training to cultivate discipline and loving-kindness among students, promote their personal financial status, and provide guidance on protecting the reputation and honor of their family and parents.
