การพัฒนาการศึกษาสงเคราะห์ของวัดใหม่สี่หมื่น อำเภอดำเนินสะดวก จังหวัดราชบุรี

        The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the level of development of educational welfare at Wat Mai Si Muen, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province; (2) to compare the development of educational welfare at Wat Mai Si Muen, classified by personal factors; and (3) to study the problems, obstacles, and suggestions regarding the development of educational welfare at Wat Mai Si Muen. This study employs a mixed-methods research design. For the quantitative research, data were collected via questionnaires from 262 residents in Wat Mai Si Muen area. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.Hypotheses were tested using F-test (One-way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA). For the qualitative research, the study used documentary analysis and interviews with 9 key informants. The data were analyzed using contextual content analysis.

The findings of the research were as follows:

        1. The overall level of development of educational welfare at Wat Mai Si Muen, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, was found to be at a high level (x= 3.59). When considering each aspect individually, the area with the highest mean was educational management as a school under the National Education Plan, which was at a high level (x= 3.83). This was followed by providing welfare for children and the public to receive education in educational institutions under the National Education Plan, also at a high level (x= 3.58). The aspect with the lowest mean was teaching morality to students within the school system under the National Education Plan, which was at a moderate level (x= 3.40).

       2. The comparison of the development of educational welfare at Wat Mai Si Muen, classified by personal factors, revealed that people with different genders, ages, levels of general education, and incomes showed no significant difference. However, people with different occupations showed a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level.

        3. Problems and obstacles, it was found that the temple lacks cooperation and sufficient support in terms of budget, educational personnel, and educational equipment to keep pace with the continuously increasing number of students. Suggestions included: all relevant agencies involved in educational management should collaborate to provide adequate support in budgeting, specialized personnel, and necessary educational tools to effectively accommodate the growing student population.
