การพัฒนางานสาธารณูปการของวัดในตำบลบ้านไร่ อำเภอดำเนินสะดวก จังหวัดราชบุรี

        The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the level of development of public facilities administration of temples in Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province; (2) to compare the development of public facilities administrationof temples in Ban Rai Sub-district, classified by personal factors; and (3) to study the problems, obstacles, and suggestions regarding the development of public facilities administration in Ban Rai Sub-district. This study employed a mixed-methods research design. For the quantitative research, data were collected via questionnaires from 386 residents in Ban Rai Sub-district. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested using F-test (One-way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA). For the qualitative research, the study used documentary analysis and interviews with 9 key informants. The data were analyzed using contextual content analysis.

        The findings of the research were as follows:

        1. The overall level of development of public facilities administration of temples in Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, was found to be at a high level (x= 3.51). When considering each aspect individually, the area with the highest mean was temple development, which was at a high level (x= 3.55). This was followed by construction and restoration of temple buildings, also at a high level (x= 3.54). The aspect with the lowest mean was maintenance and management of temple properties, which was at a moderate level (x= 3.45).

        2. The comparison of the development of public facilities administration, classified by personal factors, revealed that people with different ages and occupations showed no significant difference. However, people with different genders, levels of general education, and monthly incomes showed statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted.

        3. Problems and obstacles, it was found that temples lack the construction of additional public facilities based on priority. There is a lack of systematic accounting and inventory for public facilities categorized by size and importance. Furthermore, there is insufficient maintenance of natural resources to support the abundance and sustainability of public facility management. Suggestions included: temples should prioritize the construction of essential public facilities, and a systematic, accurate, and secure accounting system for all public facilities should be established, categorized by size and significance.
