The objectives of this study were 1) to study the morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province, 2) to study relationships between Sanígahavatthuthum and two factors theory affecting to the morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province, 3) to study the application guidelines of Sanígahavatthuthum and two factor theory to strengthen the morale levels in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province.
The study was mixed methods research between a qualitative method and quantitative method. For collecting qualitative data, an In-depth interview was used to collect data from 10 key informants and a questionnaire to collect quantitative data from 260 samples from 738 people who are a non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province. For analyzing qualitative data, a content analysis was employed. The data were analyzed in descriptive statistics sush as Frequency, Percentage, Mean,Standard Deviation, and Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient.
The research found that
1.The level of morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province accoding to Sanígahavatthuthum was at highest level (x̅ = 3.94, S.D.=0.614) and to two factor theory (x̅ = 3.91, S.D.=0.668) overall level was also high.
2. Relationships between Sanígahavatthuthum and two factors theory affecting to morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province in terms of success in work, social acceptance, nature of the work performed, responsibility, career advancement, salary promotion, professional skill in the future, relationships with supevisors had the overall correlation coefficient of .885 with a statistical significance of 0.01 at all values.
3. Application guidelines Sanígahavatthuthum and two factors theory affecting to the morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province was responsible for 3 departments : director, operations and support to have operational characteristics according to Sanígahavatthuthum : Dana, Piyavaca, Atthacariya and Samanattata which were used in conjunction with success in work, social acceptance, nature of the work performed, responsibility, career advancement, salary promotion, professional skill in the future, relationships with supervisors. They were taken to create the morale in the performance of non-commissioned police officers under the border patrol police sub-division 34 Tak Province in order to achieve the goals set.
