This research aims to survey the Khmer kinship terms spoken in Buri Ram province, to study the meaning of Khmer kinship terms spoken in Buri Ram province with componential analysis methods and to analyze the culture that is reflected from the Khmer kinship terms. The researcher used a documentary and in-depth interview method. The Khmer kinship terms were based on the interview with 30 Khmer informants. The results of the study showed that there are 28 Khmer kinship terms spoken in Buri Ram province. In total, 14 kinship terms are single words and 14 kinship terms are compound words. The meaning of the kinship terms was classified by 6 different dimensions: generation, lineage, gender, age, marriage and remarriage. The culture reflected in the Khmer kinship terms system spoken in Buri Ram province that were consisted of 5 reasons: The importance of the seniority system, emphasis on genetic relatedness, giving precedence to a direct lineage, giving equal importance to mother, father, husband and wife relatives and giving equal importance to male and female relatives.
