การบูรณาการหลักสันติวิธีทางการเมืองเพื่อการพัฒนาตัวแบบการอยู่ร่วมกันของชุมชนที่มีความแตกต่างทางด้านศาสนาในกรุงเทพมหานคร

Objectives of this research were: 1) To study the general conditions of harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis, 2) To     study the political peace principles integration for harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis and 3) To propose the development model for harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis.   

Methodology was the qualitative method by field work to collect data by in-depth-interviewing from 25 key informants. Data were analyzed by content descriptive interpretation. Data were also collected from 10 participants in focus group discussion to confirm the model after data analysis.

Findings were as follows:

1. General conditions of harmonious living of diverse religious

communities in Bangkok Metropolis were found that: Local cultures and traditions aspect, people still conserved the local culture and traditions. Communities’ leaders were central media to coordinate people in communities and were core leaders to organize activities to merge the relationship among people in the diverse religious communities. Cultural aspect, cultural diversity understanding was emphasized by accepting dressing culture in line with each religion the people expressed the way of life according to the religious principles.

2. Political peace principles integration for harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis were found that denial of violence in all forms, community leader had wise techniques to clearly deny violence by using mediation, compromising to analyze community problems, to find the real causes of the problems, then jointly solve the problems, avoiding personal problems, but the real community problems. Community leader set a good model, expressed the real leadership without bias, organized friendship activities among communities and accepted diversity peacefully. Community committee could organize activities for people to participate in for satisfaction, creating understanding among communities to emphasize the humanity without division but merging community cultures. Communities’ leaders had strength, solved community problems without bias, solve problems with reasons rather than emotion. As for community development, there must be outstanding point to emphasize to communicate with outsiders with overall coverage public relations and personnel in communities must be strengthened.

                3. Political peace principles integration for harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis were found that political peace principles integration for harmonious living of diverse religious communities in Bangkok Metropolis centered in the peace principles as the central model to unite people in communities with diverse cultures and traditions. Acceptance of diverse religions is the important heart to create peace. Respecting and honoring one another with different religions with equality, living together in communities, creating unity through activities that people of different religions could perform together would create peace, love and harmony. Religious leaders could use religious relations activities to create strong communities. Whenever there was right peace making process that was not against the religious belief that everybody in communities accepted, societies and communities would become peaceful civil societies.
